“From Which, Remarkably Enough, Nothing Develops.”

I stole the title of this post from the opening chapter of Robert Musil’s The Man Without Qualities for two reasons.

First, this blog and my ideas for it might, in the end, amount to nothing. Even so, I believe the experiment of keeping a daily blog will prove itself worthwhile.

Second, Musil’s biography and daily commitment to his art both inspire me.

I’ll be back, soon. For now, I need to recover from this last semester.
